Sprout of Hope

But you sprout, you small, hard, black seed of hope, because your job is to sprout. War destroys cities, displaces people, and makes children cry, and yet the trees bloom because their job is to bloom.

description

Light is not a substance, not a tangible object. Light is a fluid current that sometimes begins from a single point and expands toward infinity. This freedom and boundlessness of light have always fascinated me and sparked the initial inspiration to create fluid sculptures with unpredictable, organic forms.

Gradually, inspired by artists such as White and Matheson, I began crafting luminous sculptures and shared my earliest works in digital spaces. This marked the beginning of the birth of the SI.artworks in June 2024.

These sculptures are built using narrow wooden strips as their framework, with thousands of hand-applied paper pieces layered gradually over time. The forms emerge intuitively, without preliminary sketches—much like a poem that suddenly inspires the poet. They embody an unspoken dialogue between the form and its creator.
