Mona Firouzi

Mona is a Persian Nastaliq calligrapher with over four years of experience. She began learning calligraphy under the guidance of Mr. Mahmoud Namjou and continues to study and practice regularly. She is also a member of the Society of Iranian Calligraphists.

Her main focus is on siyah-mashq and painting-calligraphy. She tries to stay close to traditional forms while exploring personal approaches within the framework of classical techniques. Calligraphy has become a steady part of her daily life and artistic practice.

Saaghi

This is a Persian black practice of Nastaliq writing. Inspired by a series of words in Khayam’s poetry. “I am a servant of that moment when the cupbearer says, ‘Take one more cup,’ and I am unable”

We should cherish the present moment. The cupbearer’s invitation symbolizes life’s fleeting pleasures, and the speaker’s inability to refuse reflects a desire to embrace those moments fully.
